The HP Series is a revolutionary concept in landscape water feature design as a hybrid between a Vanishing Stream and a conventional pond. The Filter Tank is sized to capture the water in motion when the larger waterfall/stream pump is turned off and still maintain water quality in the pond with a smaller, energy efficient circulation pump that operates continuously. When the stream pump is restarted, the water level in the pond remains constant, as water to replenish the stream is drawn from the Filter Tank, not the pond. This kit is was developed to support a 2-1/2 foot wide stream, 12 feet long, and a 5'x8' pool two feet deep, which is prominent enough to be a significant design element in a medium to large landscape. The HP Series provides the best of both worlds in your yard - a dynamic stream for visual and sound effects and the serenity of a pond - in a responsible ecological manner, while minimizing maintenance.

Design Notes:

• The length of liner in each kit is longer than the stream and pond to account for vertical rise (up to 6'), turns in the stream channel, and pond depth.

• The stream width of 2-1/2 ft is the width of the channel before adding rock.

• The gravel depth over the stream liner is based on 1-1/2 inch of gravel.

• The depth of water over the stream gravel will be approximately 3/4 of an inch.
