Which is the right kit for me?
Build a small stream that meanders through the landscape at your entryway or back patio, creating an ambience you've only dreamed of. We've included a valve with this waterfall kit so you can adjust the flow to achieve just the right effect. But best of all, the water will vanish into the underground filter tank/reservoir when the pump is turned off! The filter tank is what distinguishes our kits from all the others - it contains the pump, filter, system overflow, optional accessories, and all the water when the system is off. Because the filter tank is made of heavy-duty polyethylene, you won't lay awake at night worrying whether the reservoir will collapse or spring a leak.
At approximately 31 inches wide by 24 inches deep, the T40F is the most efficient reservoir on the market. Why dig a hole bigger than you need for the stream that you want? Since it is located outside of the water feature you can perform all maintenance - even add on more water storage if conditions change - all without disturbing your water feature.
This kit includes liner and underlayment that is 5 feet wide by 20 feet long - long enough for a 14 foot long vanishing stream, averaging 18 inches wide. To calculate whether this is enough, make sure you account for vertical drops and enough width to capture splash out on any large waterfall drops. Waterfalls taller than two feet, falling into an 18-inch stream, may splash into the landscape.
All of the connections through the pump chamber and through the liner are made with heavy-duty flexible fittings with stainless steel clamps. When installed properly, this will be a permanent asset to your home. These are commercial grade components that have been installed on many high profile water features using both rubber liners or concrete.
